Lawn Fawn Spring Release

February 16, 2018

I normally do not cover company releases on here, but have you seen Lawn Fawn's upcoming release! Lawn Fawn is one of my favorite stamp companies. Their images are so adorable and they come up with great sentiments to go with them. They also have amazing die sets. The Stitched and Cross Stitched Rectangles are the most used dies in my collection. I can't possibly cover all of the new items coming out because the are A LOT, but I figured I would show you some of my favorites that I can't wait to add to my collection. This is going to be a pic heavy post so lets go!

First up are 3 items that all kind of go together. The Little Fireflies stamp set is so stinking cute and the best part is now you can really make them glow! Lawn Fawn is releasing Glow In The Dark Embossing Powder! This will be awesome not only for the fireflies, but also with Upon a Star and Out of This World. They also created a little set called Lights Out that is similar to Push Here, but for glow in the dark elements.

For medium stamp sets the created Easter Party. It's similar to the halloween Costume Party set and they could actually be used together. This one is Spring themed and features a bunny, a chick and a flower.

The next 2 sets are probably the ones I'm most excited for. Toadally awesome is exactly what it says. You get 3 super cute frogs plus a bunch of pond type elements that will help you create a fun scene. The sentiments allow you to use this set for many occasions and highlight the adult and baby frogs for use on Mother's and Father's Day cards.

Then we have Rub-A-Dub-Dub. What is more adorable than a mama and baby ducks and a bubble bath! I have so many ideas for vellum and acetate and shaker cards with this one.

There are also a ton of stand alone dies coming out with this release. They have a set of picture frames which will work wonderfully with all their characters and could be cute as a house warming card or welcome home card.

There are some fun speech bubble dies and words that you could make into a texting conversation on the front of a card or just create a type of graphic look for a card.

They also created 2 new background type of dies. Quilted Backdrop is your standard background die. I love the eyelet look it has and it will be wonderful for Spring or baby cards.

The second one is more of a scene builder set similar to the Leafy Tree Backdrop sets that came out a while back. This one is called Bayou Backdrop and it goes so well with the firefly stamps and/or Toadally Awesome. I'm sure we will see lots of other ideas for this one in the future.

And for the grand finale they are giving us another interactive die! We all love the Scalloped Pop-Up Box die and the Shadow Box Card die and now we have the Pivot Pop Up Die! I've seen it on their Instagram and on a few of the design team Instagram's. It creates a pop up panel for the inside of the card, but it's not a regular pop-up. It twists and unfolds to actually stand up from the card. It's hard to explain, you just need to see it.

So those are some of my favorites from the upcoming release. You can check out more on their blog and everything is scheduled to come out February 22nd. Let me know in the comments if you enjoyed this type of post and if you'd like to see more of them. Thanks for stopping by! XO ~ Amy
